Tinklebugs is a new approach to Childcare. Launched in Summer 2009 in the Basildon area, we offer an excellent alternative to other childcare providers, with fully qualified and experienced staff.

About me...

My name is Carla Blackburn, I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder in Pitsea (Essex) who is fully insured through Morton Micheal. I hold a current first aid certificate, have had all the relevant health checks and have been cleared by the Criminal Records Bureau.

I have over 10 years of childcare experience working as a private nanny, team leader in nurseries and running crèches in Austria. I have also cared for children with disabilities. I became a registered Childminder in 2009.

I live with my husband and daughter in a non-smoking household. I have many visitors including 2 miniature schnauzers called Charlie and Archie who love going to the park to play. The enclosed garden offers lots of outdoor equipment which is checked regularly and is an all-weather covered area for the children to play safely.

We regularly visit other childminders and their children and go for walks or outings to the park, local animal farms, toddler groups, soft play areas etc.

I hold a full, clean driving license and have insurance policies that cover my business in my home and car.

I provide a flexible and personal service that meets the individual needs of your child. My home is a caring, safe and stimulating environment giving your child lots of opportunity to have fun and learn through play. I am committed to the welfare and development of all the children in my care and it is important to me that parents can leave their children knowing that they are in safe hands and are having a very positive, enjoyable experience.

I provide care for children from birth onwards that require childcare on a full time or part time basis. I offer local school and pre-school drop offs and pickups where necessary, as well as childcare during the school holidays. I drop off and collect from Eversley Primary School in Crest Avenue daily.
