Meals...
We all want our children to grow up understanding and eating healthy foods. The foods we eat are nutritional and well balanced and cooked from fresh where appropriate. All meals and snacks are included in my fees. For little ones who are still on formula or jar food this must be provided by the parents; the daily vegetable can be pureed if preferred. All the children in my care are encouraged to eat their meals however; fussy eaters may prefer a packed meal instead.

Water and juice are available throughout the day. Milk and juice are available during meal times.

The sample menu below gives you an idea of the food we eat. Although all children are encouraged to eat healthily they have a freedom of choice as to what they eat in regards to filling and topping.

    Monday Selection of cereals.
    Toast with various spreads.
    Choice of fruit. Sandwiches with choice of fillings.

    Yoghurt.
    Crumpets Cottage pie with carrots and peas.
    Apple & blackberry crumble.
    Tuesday Selection of cereals.
    Toast with various spreads.
    Choice of fruit. Jacket potato with choice of topping.

    Yoghurt.
    Cucumber and
    carrot sticks
    Mexican tacos and rice.

    Strawberries and cream.
    Wednesday Selection of cereals.
    Toast with various spreads.
    Choice of fruit. Sandwiches with a choice of fillings.

    Yoghurt.
    Cheese and
    pineapple chunks
    Sausage, carrot and swede mash
    with onion gravy.
    Rice pudding.
    Thursday Selection of cereals.
    Toast with various spreads.
    Choice of fruit. Bagels with choice of fillings.

    Yoghurt.
    Cheese twists Spaghetti and meatballs.

    Cherry pie.
    Friday Selection of cereals.
    Toast with various spreads.
    Choice of fruit. Tomato soup and crusty bread
    for dipping.
    Yoghurt.
    Raisins Homemade pizza and baked beans.
